Brennan of Hamilton Lane, John Guinee of Constitution Capital Partners, and Alison Nest of Morgan Stanley discussed how advisors and platforms are approaching the onboarding, diligence, and distribution of the growing number of evergreen structures across the liquidity spectrum. #alternativeinvestments

Arguably one of the biggest trends across Alternative Investments today is the democratization through evergreen product structures. Today at the #MMIAlternativeInvestments Forum, this insightful panel discussed how their respective firms have developed solutions in response to investor concerns associated with traditional institutional alternative investment funds - including K1s, draw downs, locked capital and blind pools. Some key takeaways: 1. Evergreen product structures are ‘table stakes’ to be active in the #PrivateWealth space today; firms are missing out on an opportunity if they don’t go down market. 2. Advisor penetration and education are both critical components to asset managers raising capital; these were common themes discussed throughout the day. 3. Full adoption of private markets allocation into investor portfolios is key; this will come with an increase in the number of new products and more firms choosing to invest in building out investment teams that manage alternative investment portfolios stylistically closer to how traditional portfolios are managed. 4. #PrivateCredit and #Infrastructure both continue to be a strong investment themes in 2024. #privatewealthsolutions #alternativeinvestments #MMIAlternativeInvestments #Newyorkcity #UBS
