Diversity in clinical trials is crucial because it helps ensure that medical research represents everyone. Historically, many communities have often been left out of these trials, including the Black community. We’re taking steps to help ensure our trials are inclusive of people from different backgrounds. At this year’s ESSENCE Festival of Culture, we hope to inspire dialogue about clinical trials and share more about our commitment to diversity and inclusion in research. #ESSENCEFest2024 #ClinicalTrialDiversity

Ensuring diversity in clinical trials is essential for equitable healthcare outcomes. I'm thrilled to see efforts to include underrepresented communities, such as the Black community, in this critical aspect of medical research. 🙏🏻

Such a wise destination to be in conversation with the community!

It is a tough balance between funding, diversity of the trial population and meeting regulators requirements in clinical trials, but absolutely necessary. This is where innovative thinking for clinical trials can make a difference.
