The Fawcett Society has added to the call for 'fertility-friendly' workplaces with this new research. Having fertility challenges is difficult enough without having to struggle on in silence at work. 92% of women have to take time off for treatment but only 41% decide they want to tell senior colleagues. Women and their partners deserve compassionate workplaces that are aware of how fertility treatment can impact their staff, and what support is needed. #fertilityawareness #parenthood #fertilitysupport #fertilityjourney https://lnkd.in/eetD4BUf

Did you know that the US birth rate is continuing to decline? According to a report from the National Center for Health Statistics, there were 3.7 million births in 2022, which was down 2% from 2021. This decline is attributed to a drop in fertility among women in their teens and twenties, as well as higher numbers of unmarried women choosing not to have children. While the fertility rate is still higher than it was in 2020, this trend could have a significant impact on our population in the coming years. https://lnkd.in/grAagwRS #fertilityrates #pregnancystatistics
