📢 Flash Update 📢 Hey fellow founders, marketers, and sales folks! Does that auto-like, auto-follow, auto-message sequence still work for you? Or do you need more? 😅 I, for one, am growing tired of it, and I bet it’s fooling increasingly fewer people. They see it for what it is - a lazy bot routine. What's next? Here are some tried-and-true paths that still work both online and offline: 1. Attend conferences to network. 2. Ask happy customers for recommendations over lunch/beer/coffee. 3. Send handwritten thank-you notes. 4. Share a laugh at a trade show booth. 5. Host lunch-and-learn sessions. 6. Play a round of golf with prospects. 7. Host virtual webinars and Q&A sessions. 8. Participate in online forums and discussions. 9. Co-host industry workshops, both online and offline. 10. Join relevant professional groups and associations. I know, I know… All of this looks like work… and that’s why opportunities are missed indeed - they do look like work and are dressed in overalls. (C) H Ford Real connections > Robot routines!

In the old days, that kind of approach was called SPAM. I immediately block not just people but also companies using that tactic. They create fake profiles, send similar messages, and think that in 2024, no one will recognize they are using automation.
