🚀 Prebid Connect 🚀 "A privacy centric, secure standard for passing identity, addressability measurement and attribution signals from Publisher to Advertiser." It was so good to talk through the vision of Prebid Connect at the Prebid.org Ascent Summit in London this week. What a game changer this will be for the industry, and I'm truly excited to be involved. There is obviously a long way to go until there is even a POC, but assuming the industry comes together to build the right product for the job this will be amazing. It was great chatting with Garrett McGrath of Magnite, Michael Racic of Prebid.org, and Matthew Griffiths of Audigent after the big announcement on Prebid Connect's future. Prebid and Freestar will hold a special event at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity on June 18th. This event is a no-brainer if you want to learn more about Prebid Connect. 👨💻 Time to double down on innovation 👩💻 --- I’m personally so glad that the 3PC deprecation timeline has been extended. Over the past 6 months, I have witnessed loads of testing, innovation and detailed analysis on what the new world with no 3PC will look like, but sadly, it’s all pointing to the fact on the old timeline the industry just isn't ready. Revenue, Latency and the Top Level Seller challenges all need addressing. I very much come from the publisher’s perspective and it's my job to advocate for them. This new timeline provides a much fairer opportunity for all players in our industry to be ready for such a MASSIVE change. All parties in the chain should have optimal time, space and support so that everyone can find a way to win and publishers aren’t left out of pocket. I strongly believe that the industry needs to work together to overcome this challenge. With the brilliant minds involved with Prebid.org and the support of IAB Tech Lab, I'm excited to be part of the next phase of preparation. It's time to innovate and not relax as we have more time before the new world.
