Congratulations to the entire Flexpipe team who celebrated the grand opening of their newest facility in Rockwall, #Texas just last week! This is the first of four new Mattr facilities expected to come online by the end of 2024. Mike Reeves, President and CEO of Mattr, recently appeared on TMX Group to discuss the significant transformation the business has undergone and the exceptional investment opportunity it presents. Mattr boasts a strong balance sheet, the capacity to invest in organic growth, and an ambitious outlook through the end of the decade. Management projects doubling its revenue, consistently achieving 10%+ growth rates, 20% EBITDA margins, and over 70% free cash flow conversion. "The [business transformation] has not been fully received by the market place and as a consequence we have continued to trade substantially below most of our peers... this tells me this is a wonderful investment opportunity," stated Mike Reeves. Mattr delivers reliability by engineering and manufacturing premium products where the cost of failure is highest. Through our brand portfolio — Flexpipe, Xerxes, Shawflex, and DSG-Canusa — we focus on high-value infrastructure products in the #transportation, #communication, #electrification, and #energy markets.

We have heard great feedback from some of our plant managers about Gemba Walks. A #gembawalk, from the Japanese "gemba" meaning "the real place," is a walkthrough of the workplace designed to observe employees, understand tasks, and identify productivity improvements. This lean method promotes continuous improvement by connecting leaders to the real work happening on the shop floor. Here are some reasons to perform a gemba walk. - Watch, listen, learn and help. - Identify problems and opportunities for improvement. - Reduce waste and increase efficiency. - Foster strong relationships and morale. - Foster a culture of continuous improvement.
