Game nights just got more accessible! As part of our commitment to inclusive play experiences, by the end of 2024, 80% of our Mattel Games global portfolio will be colorblind accessible, including fan-favorites like UNO, Phase 10, and Blokus. Our Games team consulted experts and individuals with colorblindness, including some of our very own Mattel designers, to develop custom solutions, such as patterns and symbols. 2wHey Mason, out of curiosity, how are empowering team members and leaders within Mattel, Inc. to help the Mattel Creations platform better serve customers around the world? Since 2023, Mattel Creations has been growing into the one-stop-shop for Mattel products for those who wish to avoid unnecessary travel or speculative pricing in the resale market. That said, however, growing concern from enthusiasts of various Mattel brands is that the business as a whole is more focused on appeasing retailers and not serving those who actually bring the products home with them. I've personally been thankful for Mattel introducing a first party online shop like Mattel Creations that better serves customers than platforms like Amazon and Ebay, or retailers like Walmart, Target, etc. Also knowing my purchases on Mattel Creations go directly to support Mattel's growth makes me feel like I'm supporting a bigger effort to improve better access to Mattel products globally. Please continue to support those internally at Mattel who want to see the business grow and expand its abilities to provide the amazing Mattel products to everyone around the world through Mattel Creations.
