This is it, Apple vision Pro will start arriving in stores. The price certainly makes it a very high-end product, not for everyone. Whenever Apple launches a new product we tend to think that an entire industry will be disrupted or a new one will be created. In this case there is a lot of skepticism, whether you are a tech enthusiast or particularly skeptical, but certainly this launch could and will change the way we work, play games, watch movies etc. It would not be the first time an Apple innovation has been underestimated. We come from the hypes and drunkenness of the Metaverse and Web3. Actually both of these phenomena continue to grow, improve and penetrate markets and industries, but certainly the inflated promises of a few years ago have been scaled back. Be careful not to confuse spatial computing with VR, oculus, metaverse etc. WSJ's Joanna Stern tested the Apple Vision Pro for 24h. Her conclusion was that it is not a must have for many consumers, but it is the best mixed reality experience she has had. Certainly the device is still quite big, but right now it is absolutely the best the technology and design has to offer. Everything is super intuitive, you don't feel out of touch, you are able to see the space outside and the people in front of you, and they can see our eyes. Needless to talk about the amount of patents and new technologies contained in this device, the incredible and intuitive way you interact with apps and contents. The real disruption will come from just extending the computer into space, overcoming the limitation of screens, however large screen you have, Apple vision pro offers much more, a total and immersive experiences but never alienating like other VR sets. We will see the market response but the feeling is that we are facing a revolution, and the sales figures may surprise.
