Under her leadership, Bank of America has excelled in diversity and inclusion. Janet succeeds Ronda McDowell from Sandy Spring Bank. MBA President & CEO, Ramon O. Standing Strong: MBA Chair, Ronda McDowell, Offers Support and Hope in Wake of Bridge Collapse Tragedy: "With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we address the devastating collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. Our thoughts are with the families and loved ones of all those impacted by this tragedy. The sudden loss of such a vital artery of our state's infrastructure has left us all in shock. Yet, in times of adversity, the resilience and strength of the State of Maryland and its communities shine brightest. It is during these moments that we must find the resolve to come together, support one another and rebuild.   During this trying time, we witnessed the bravery and selflessness of our first responders and emergency personnel who worked tirelessly to aid those in need. Their courage serves as a beacon of hope in this challenging time.   The economic impact of this tragedy cannot be overstated, but we are confident in the strength of Maryland's businesses, communities and financial institutions to weather this storm and emerge with resilience.
