Kürzlich war die Unterstufenklasse der Industriekaufleute des Friedrich-List-Berufskollegs bei MARTOR zu Gast. Personalreferentin Vanessa Longerich und Personalleiter Bastian Rosbach freuten sich sehr über interessierte und motivierte junge Leute, die ihr theoretisches Wissen mitbrachten und mal schauen wollten, wie ein produzierendes Unternehmen wie MARTOR in der realen praktischen Welt funktioniert. Besondere Highlights waren daher die Führung durch die Fertigungs- und Lagerhallen von MARTOR durch Logistikleiter Uwe Longerich und die Produktpräsentation durch Produktmanager Julian Soult. Unterstützt wurden sie von unseren aktuellen MARTOR-Azubis Vanessa Piechula, Betül Cekic und Lennart Grünwald. Die Präsentation fand im MARTOR-Showroom statt. Der Wunsch der Auszubildenden, die MARTOR-Sicherheitsmesser auch einmal selbst in die Hand zu nehmen und anhand diverser Schneidmaterialien auszuprobieren, wurde natürlich erfüllt! So stand am Ende ein spannender und lebhafter Austausch, der hoffentlich allen gefallen hat. Danke für euren Besuch und euer großes Interesse an MARTOR, liebe Azubis! GOLD FOR MARTOR AT THE GERMAN BRAND AWARD 2024! We are absolutely thrilled and incredibly proud to have been awarded the prestigious German Brand Award 2024 Gold in the "Excellent Brands" category. Our Brand Manager, Kerstin Göbel, received this iconic award on June 13, 2024, in Berlin. Our gratitude goes out to our fantastic team, our agencies, and all our supporters. The German Brand Award, initiated by the German Design Council (Rat für Formgebung - German Design Council) and judged by a high-calibre jury of brand economy and brand science experts, is considered as the award for successful brand management in Germany. In 2024, the German Brand Award received over 1,300 entries from 19 countries, achieving significant international resonance. The jury justified its decision with the following words: "MARTOR, based in Solingen, can look back on more than 80 years of tradition and experience. Unser MARTOR-Sommerausflug führte uns in diesem Jahr auf den Landgasthof Eierkaal nach Remscheid. Getreu dem Motto „Spaß wie Heu“ stürzten wir uns nach dem üppigen Hoffrühstück auf die Bauernhof-Olympiade. Und das hieß: Zehnkampf für zehn Teams! Vom Gummistiefel-Weitwurf übers Milchkannen-Heben bis zum Bullenreiten war alles dabei, was für Durst, Hunger und lachende Gesichter sorgte. Besuch des Bergischen Geschichtsvereins in der MARTOR World! Wir hatten das große Vergnügen, den Bergischen Geschichtsverein bei uns in der MARTOR World zu begrüßen! Die Gastgeberinnen Sonja Hendricks, MARTOR-Eigentümerin, und Kerstin Göbel, Brand Managerin, nahmen die interessierten Gäste mit auf einen faszinierenden Spaziergang in die Geschichte von MARTOR: von den Anfängen vor über 80 Jahren bis zur heutigen Zeit als Marktführer für sicheres und effizientes Schneiden. German Innovation Award 2024 for our new SECUNORM 610 XDR safety knife!   You can see how proud and happy we are on the faces of Martin Rohrbach, the responsible Product Designer (left), and Dr Daniel Zuber, Head of Product Development at MARTOR. Here is a picture from the award ceremony at the Futurium in Berlin.   With this award, the German Design Council recognises the innovative concept and unique position of the SECUNORM 610 XDR. The cutting tool, which specialises in opening bagged goods, is the first safety knife with maximum dirt resistance.   Because no matter what the bag contents are like, whether dusty or sticky, the high-quality safety knife always performs – and so does the built-in automatic blade retraction to protect the user.
