Het waren twee heel intensieve en leerzame dagen samen met de Finse en Italiaanse delegatie van het S.E.E.D. project. Veel inspirerende Impact ondernemers ontmoet en interessante discussies met verschillende stakeholders gevoerd. The S.E.E.D. project is a partnership between 6 organisations from Finland (Sakky and Samiedu), Italy (Essenia UETP and Comune di Baronissi) and The Netherlands (Nova College and Stadsgarage). The project is funded by the European Union. The six partners feel responsible to make a substantial contribution to the development of the local ecosystem for social entrepreneurs. In this project the educational institutions join forces with experts in the field of social entrepreneurship to make it possible to examine the ecosystem of social enterprises from different perspectives, to identify the different stakeholders and their roles and responsibilities, and to look specifically at the role of knowledge institutions within this ecosystem. We want to identify success factors and pitfalls to strengthen that ecosystem, analyse which knowledge and skills are necessary for a social entrepreneur to develop and draw up international units of learning outcomes. Entrepreneurship must be practiced – just like everything else. That’s what Lucia Naldi, Professor in Business Administration at JIBS believes.  In a recent debate article in GP, Lucia Naldi, and co-authors Magnus Henrekson, Mikael Stenkula, Karin Thorburn, Caroline Wigren-Kristoferson, and Joakim Wincent, emphasize a crucial point: for a thriving entrepreneurial landscape, Sweden must integrate entrepreneurship into every facet of society. Despite a record 9.2% of the working population engaging in early-stage entrepreneurship, long-term business sustainability remains a challenge. The recent Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) report highlights the need for practical entrepreneurial training at all educational levels, from high schools to universities, underscoring the importance of persistent effort and the role of diverse role models in guiding aspiring entrepreneurs. For Sweden to stay at the forefront of global development, according to Naldi and co-authors, we must foster an environment that supports both emerging and established entrepreneurs. This includes addressing the gender gap in entrepreneurship and ensuring that vocational students receive essential business training. The impact of strategic alignment relies on the entrepreneur's self-efficacy, with low levels posing a risk of inefficiencies and reduced performance by deviating from established strategies." Brilliant professors Paul Cheek and Bill Aulet teach and practice all the steps you should not skip if you are really aiming for success. I did it and highly recommend! The business innovation platform MT/Sprout commissioned the UvA’s Amsterdam Centre for Business Innovation (ACBI) to carry out research to answer this question.
