Successful integrative medicine/functional medicine implementation expert in health care system & highly effective team builder focused on mission and vision.
In the study of Zen, positive - negative is less important than the truth... It is true Todd R. Otten, M.D. focus on positive & #RippleChange. In past three days, I went resolved to implement root cause changes to address one issue that was causing most angst in my life - being away from my family since Oct of 2021. I meditated and was shown the way - I networked as if I never networked before... In Zen, beginner mind (Suzuki) or don't know mind (Seung Sahn Seunim) is valued because it does not know preconceived notion (therefore no confirmation bias). First Primary Care and Geetinder Goyal MD taught me how his operation can address the PAIN of increasing health care cost through virtual DPC (in house available - also), stop-loss insurance (which means company keeps the savings - if there are savings - which means skin in the game to keep care efficient, effective, and engaging). While I learned this first from Neer Patel who shared about Lee S. Gross, MD and DeSoto Memorial Hospital saving 1.4 million dollars by employing DPC and stop loss insurance. Mitigate Partners Carl C. Schuessler, Jr., DHP, DIA, GBDS also. Ayn Rand wrote in her book #AtlasShrugged our reality of physicians - caught between our love for our patients and corporate greed - caught between administrators who act like a pimp towards sex workers...using RVU and other ways to cause moral injury... Result? more than 300 physicians end their lives...majority of medical students want non-clinical careers, about 10%of AAPF members have DPC practice. My discovery is that I am loyal to a person - currently Ada Bair a phenomenal leader and my mentor. Not to organizations. I have yet to see an organization that is functional... dysfunctional is the norm. SNAFU would be a blessing where FUBAR owns the day... I am grateful to LinkedIn community Ann M. Richardson, MBA - a healthcare genius who warns about our Health Care system is a #HealthScare Disorganization. Josh Umbehr, MD, Philip Eskew, DO, JD, MBA, Douglas Farrago MD and many more trying to salvage what we can...Physician and Patient through Direct Care. Lee S. Gross, MD @epiphany health and DeSoto Memorial Hospital - for demonstrating on how to save $$$ (more than one million dollars) by providing DPC + stop loss insurance + benefits. Surgery Center Of Oklahoma Keith Smith MD. Green Imaging Cristin Dickerson MD... Christa Springston MD - DPC physician leader with pure heart and operational genius. All trying to stamp inefficiency and introduce transparent, efficient, effective care... If not for Ada Bair, a phenomenal leader, mentor and my current boss, I would, by hook or crook find a way to make contribution to this movement... I hope that I can find a way to make contribution where I am planted Memorial Hospital, Carthage, Illinois??? DPC Alliance #DSCAlliance Hint Health Fullscript Rupa Health See you all at #RosettaFest?

Word for word, I could have said these words in this video by Marie Forleo. We rob ourselves of the life we really want to live because we don't think we have a better option. We kidnap ourselves from the lives we want because we think a certain path will help us get by, pay our bills, meet our basic needs and keep others happy. Ask yourself - where am I kidnapping myself from the life that I really want? This is probably the most fulfilling part of the work I do with my clients. To help them move past the fear and doubt and come home to their true selves. One of the FIRST things we do when we work together is to identify what they REALLY want. Then we get started on helping them CREATE what they want ✨ #goal #clarity #coaching #confidence

Sometimes while we are waiting during difficult life seasons, engaging in acts of service not only helps us pass the time with less focus on ourselves, but it also reminds us to be thankful as we serve others in need. The next time you are waiting, try to find creative ways to bless someone else through your time, talents and treasure. As the New Year approaches, let's remember that symbolism is how we make meaning in our lives; it doesn't matter how much the price, the time it takes, or the values that cost us. It's the doing for the meaning that matters. If you subscribe to war, thank you for your service. If you subscribe to peace, thank you for your service. If you subscribe to compromise, thank you for your service. The world is will, and the struggle for recognition or survival, unity or debate, exclusion or inclusion, and all that is in between, is everyone's burden and joy. Go where you can be happy, or go where you can make a difference. Or both, if you are lucky. In the New Year, may 2024 bring you what you cherish, what you deserve, and what you envision to help you find or be the heroes that change the world, for better or for worse. Make your voice heard, and listen. And deal with the consequences of those decisions. Your choices echo over eons. Happy New Year? Maybe. Or at least one that brings meaning to your world. Cheers.

What's your 4th Quarter dream? Make a list of 10 dreams you would like to fulfill in your 4th Quarter. Here's one way to get started. By size of the dream. For example, you might dream to: S - Go on a Holy Land pilgrimage. M - Become the Prayer Champion for your family by praying each day by name for each member of your family. Cover them in prayer. Every day. L - Have grandchildren and live to see each of their weddings, and be surrounded by them in your final moments. XL - Repair a broken relationship with your brother before it becomes too late. JUMBO - Become the most generous version of yourself. You get the idea. Your dreams are your dreams for a reason. Dreams fuel your future. And remember: earller in life, your dreams often revolve around Acquiring, Accomplishing, and Accumulating. But in the 4th Quarter, they more likely will focus on Becoming, Preparing, Relationships, and Legacy. Spend some time quietly visioning and praying - envision a future that you (and God) desire for your 4th Quarter. Live boldly. Finish fearlessly. A man is not old until regrets take the place of dreams (J. Barrymore). Dream on! #NoRegrets #FourthQuarter #4thQuarter
