Android System Is Compatible With Over 200 Million Cars Google took advantage of the I/O event to announce that the car version of its operating system - Android Auto - already has more than 200 million compatible cars on the road. Note that this does not mean that Android Auto is installed in 200 million cars, with the figure referring only to vehicles whose drivers have the option of installing the operating system. In the same way you can search for a gas station while driving, you’ll soon be able to find EV chargers on Apple Maps, the company recently announced. EV drivers can use a filter by charging networks and by plug type. Users with compatible vehicles will be able to designate a preferred charging network.
