When I started in recruitment, on a contract desk the only things that candidates wanted to know were, What is the pay rate? When is the start date? And, how long is the contract duration? Managing a Permanent team opened more questions like, How much holiday do I get? What does career growth look like? What’s management structure like? And, what are the values of the business? Moving to New York added another factor to consider, Healthcare Plans. Then came the pandemic which changed how people thought about going into the office and commuting to work. There are now many variables when it comes to accepting a job offer. Last week, Alycia Brady asked her network in APAC "What are the deal breakers when it comes to accepting a job offer?" I wanted to see whether people thought about these differently in the US.
