This week I had the chance to virtually present to the students of the senior year of Facultad de Ingeniería | Universidad Austral I really liked the chance to interact with the future engineers, moreover, considering that is the University where I graduated ❤️🇦🇷. We talked about DHL Group, our Strategy, the DHL Supply Chain division, and more specifically for this audience, we discussed about the industries where DHL Supply Chain provides solutions, megatrends that are changing today’s supply chains and increasing complexity, and the focus technologies that are driving efficiency gains, increased productivity and accuracy along the entire supply chain. Thanks Daniel Suarez Anzorena and Mercedes Augspach for the opportunity!

Yesterday it was the “take your child to work day”, and it was the last year in which my four kids would be able to attend. I wanted to thank all who coordinated and put together this incredible event, because to me it is important that my children learn more about where I work and what we do. As for the comments and questions my kids asked me after the event, it was clear they had learned a lot about DHL and our purpose!

I am heading back home, after a super productive week in Mumbai. It was a great opportunity to meet the local team, site visit operations, and work together with the Global Solutions Design team. Lots of learnings to replicate in Latin America. I just want to say THANKS! to the team for the hospitality and all the organization.

Just arrived from Brazil, where I had the opportunity to work with the local Solutions Design team, and also attend the ‘2024 DHL Supply Chain Conference.’ Another great event, with very rich content including inspirational external speakers. I returned fully energized, with a clear understanding of the main priorities and our commitments to achieve them!

As part of the Florida International University - College of Engineering & Computing, Master of Science in Logistics Engineering (MSLE) Advisory Council Board meeting, we had an exclusive site tour of the new Engineering Innovation building. Thanks for the invitation, it is an honor to be part of this Board, and it was great to have more insights of what is coming! (if you zoom in the picture, you will see a DHL plane passing by 😉 ❤️💛)

Back in 2000, when I was graduating as an Industrial Engineer at Universidad Austral, Buenos Aires, a new campus was being built. Today, after more than 20 years, I had the opportunity to visit this IMPRESSIVE place. What was also interesting and gratifying for me too, when walking and visiting the different areas and buildings, is that you could feel the same unique atmosphere. I want to thank the Centro de Industria 4.0 - Facultad de Ingeniería - Universidad Austral for the opportunity, and I am looking forward in identifying ways to work together in the future.

Do you know one of those events that you schedule and plan well-ahead of time, and you work hard together with the team to get all the details of the agenda fully covered? This is one of those! I have just landed in Brazil, and also Dr. Dietmar Steins (who is coming from the other side of the Atlantic!), and we have the week ahead to visit different Countries in Latin America. We are really looking forward to meeting the Solutions Design team members, some of the stakeholders, and of course, site visits!
