I tried to check at what trimaran dimensions it is theoretically possible to stand upright inside the stern of the yacht. The length of the yacht turned out to be about 7 meters. Such non-obvious advantages in the volume of the body should be laid in the early stages of design.

The fact that the world-premiere of the Sirena Marine 78 took place at the recent Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (and not a European boatshow that’s much closer to the shipyard in Turkey) is interesting for a couple reasons. First, Sirena Yachts is one of several shipyards that have shined a light on the many benefits (skilled yet affordable workforce, significant investment etc.) of building yachts in Turkey. And second, it shows demand for yachts of all sizes continues to be strong here in the States—and all of the European shipyards know how important the American Market is to their bottom line.
