Meet Crystal Burckle.
In 1989, Crystal started her career in the homebuilding industry for Standard Pacific Homes as an Administrative Assistant for the California Coastal Division. In the early 1990s, she took a two-year sabbatical to caddy for her husband, who was a professional golfer at the time. Crystal and her family also moved to Germany for a year. When she returned to the States, she was rehired as an Assistant Project Manager at Standard Pacific Homes. In the late 1990s, she was promoted to Project Manager. In this role, she assisted in various aspects of Community development. Crystal did a small stint with another builder before returning as a Project Manager in 2012. In 2016, she was promoted to Director of Project Development. Through a series of acquisitions, Crystal officially joined the Lennar family in 2018 and she was promoted to Director of Community Management for the Division. Day-to-day, Crystal is involved with all the Community development - business plans, sales, starts, closings, and more. One of her favorite parts of her job is design reviews for floorplans, elevations, landscaping, and model homes.
While she loves her job, the people that she works with at Lennar are what she loves the most. She believes that her team is like her second family. Crystal bleeds Lennar blue and is one of our many Blue Boomerang Associates. The Blue Boomerang represents an Associate who leaves Lennar for a stint to pursue other endeavors and return to Lennar. Crystal returned to Lennar because of the growth opportunities, family-like culture, and her team.
Crystal’s dedication, experience, and passion for the homebuilding industry are integral to the Cal Coastal Division. She is a team player and an incredible mentor to the Cal Coastal project management team. Thanks, Crystal!
Fun Fact – Crystal is a long-time Lennar Associate and a Lennar homeowner. She purchased her new Lennar home almost two years ago.
DevOps Engineer Student, I'm looking to further my educational training prior to working, or while I work. I would like to spend 4 hours in school, and 4 hours at work daily.
1wI have a career that I love, respect, and glorify in every way in the DevOps Engineering, ITMLP role. I can take the Obama Foundation with me as we grow, have the opportunity to be challenged and stimulated everyday; contribute to the technology industry in a significant way, sustain my leadership skills, collaborate and communicate with service providers and my team mate, become educated, learn and grow in an industry where there's plenty of room for growth, experience the wonderful benefits of AI and ML in a business sense, meet like-minded individuals on the journey, and offer my best to America in the build and deployment of software. With humility, Lennar, I've found the career, employer, community, and boss. Please wish me well!
