Process Intelligence in Action: Getting on the Happy Path Fun fact # 4: this great view provided the right perspectives to get ideas flowing and write the first chapters. For writing a book it is important to find a suitable location which helps you to get on the “happy path”. The happy path is a concept developed for Process Mining, describing an ideal flow where everything goes according to plan, i.e. without delays or deviations. In our digital world with continuous information overflow and distractions, finding a calm retreat was an important factor. Luckily I found a great room with a view in a remote area above Port Antonio, Jamaica. Which brought me on the happy path, writing one chapter per day in a disciplined daily shift.
