Gil Pack developed a unique plastic packaging solution utilizing PolyEthylene Naphthalate (PEN) to address the challenges of #Sevoflurane packaging. Sevoflurane, a commonly used surgical #anesthetic, is typically packaged in basic glass bottles with screw caps. However, this packaging falls short of being optimal as it is prone to breaking, is heavy, and increases the complexity and cost of logistics. PEN has high barriers to gases and moisture, is recyclable, and requires specialized injection and blow molding equipment.
