Brands that have fully written off podcast advertising bum me out because: 1. They have likely fallen for a big DAI impression buy (we all know what network) and saw very minimal return. 2. They're missing out on a top-performing marketing channel. Take a look around any metropolitan area; you see people with headphones on, tuning into their favorite shows. The influence of podcast advertising comes from the level of trust and intimacy the listener has with the hosts! Since COVID, people want to feel a sense of community, and the truth is podcasts are providing that for a lot of people. A good podcast advertising strategy feels like an absolute hack because it's tapping these highly engaged communities with low risk. This feels like a great place to market your product so don't get discouraged. I may be a bit biased 😉 but I'm just spreading the good news of #podcastadvertising ! If you're a brand that has written off podcasts as a marketing channel or just needs a guide on where to start, Podscale® is built to help you. #digitaladvertising
