What an incredible night partnering with Variety - the Children's Charity of Iowa to cheer on the Iowa Wolves and spend the evening with these wonderful kids. This event was part of our Kuvare Kares initiative where employees coordinate volunteer activities and donations that positively impact the local communities where Kuvare operates.
Last week Kuvare Holdings partnered with Variety so children who are underprivileged and living with special needs could experience the fun of an Iowa Wolves game! Ten-year-old Ian was the Kid Captain of the game, participating in time-out experiences and interacting with the fans and players. Ian lives with special needs and received a specialized bike from Variety last October. This bike has helped Ian strengthen his lower extremities and improve his balance and coordination. Twelve-year-old Max and seven-year-old Myles also received the VIP treatment from Kuvare and the Wolves, participating in on-court experiences. These brothers have the same genetic condition that affects their growth, mobility, muscle strength, and balance. They both received specialized bikes from Variety in September that have helped them recover from their many orthopedic surgeries and preserve their mobility. Kuvare also provided a food and drink voucher to Variety charity partners Mentor Iowa and Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Iowa, so approximately 100 youth in their programs could attend the game. “Kuvare was thrilled to provide a unique, interactive experience for a terrific group of youth from the Des Moines area who are served by Variety’s programs,” said Brad Rosenblatt, Chief Revenue Officer at Kuvare. “It was an honor to spend the evening with the kids and their mentors while cheering on the Wolves.” Thank you for such a fun and memorable night, Kuvare! ❤
