#KaChing 💸 Last week we gathered some of the top minds in #FinTech, as Nik Koblov said “the full stack”  from network through bank, processor, and on to the application layer to an evening of roundtable discussions. 4 facilitators, led 4 different discussions addressing the most burning questions in FinTech today. Jason Gardner, Founder & Executive Chairman, Marqeta, dived into the opportunity costs and potential impacts of focusing on B2B versus B2C models in the Fintech space, while exploring the balance between innovation and meeting evolving customer needs. Nik Koblov, Head of Engineering at Ramp, shared insights on how Fintech companies drive innovation in payments, especially in the B2B space, and the regulatory hurdles they encounter to facilitate real-time money movement. Ernie Borhan, VP Global Business Optimization, at Visa, led discussions on how Fintech companies are addressing the challenges of globalization and offering cross-border solutions, navigating #regulatory differences between jurisdictions. Jacqueline Reses, CEO of Lead, addressed the factors behind the global decline in Fintech funding, highlighting shifts in startups' go-to-market strategies and investment approaches, and providing invaluable advice for startups navigating these challenges to secure investment and sustain #growth in today's market environment.
