What a great gathering of Supply Chain Professionals, Industry leaders and Innovative Thinkers during last weeks #aiosphere conference. Would be great to establish a forum for exchange of new ideas, experience, new approaches in a networking atmosphere - the Supply Chain community desperately needs such a forum. Thanks for the invitation to talk about and discuss my favorite topic - the future of Supply Chain Planning. I'm deeply convinced GenAI will be similar to the invention of the container in Supply Chain - radically shifting the way we operate our Supply Chains. We will see GenAI as integral part of our SC teams working towards better performance. BUT (am German) we need to overcome change resistance - which is enabled by the following 4 elements. I do change (ie accept the new GenAI Avatar colleague) if 🎷 I see role models that change 🎷 I'm convinced change / the new process / system / structure makes sense 🎷 I do have the skills to perform the new task 🎷 Formal processes are established enabling the new task Looking forward to develop this future further. Thanks a lot for the invitation Christoph Kilger, Andreas Mueller and for the great orga Maike Klemmer and the aioneers team.

Hi Knut, I also liked the atmosphere and exchange (and unexpected reunions Beate Zoebeley)! Great to see, learn and exchange with other ideas and what are their experiences: I especially appreciated, that all speakers highlighted the need to think (also budget wise 😉 ) on the people as well, especially with regard to change mgmt. and upskilling! Thanks to Christoph Kilger for inviting me and happy to keep in touch to exchange further ideas with all of you! Judith

Interesting talk, Knut. Thanks for sharing! Btw, I still need to read your book! 🙂

Thanks Knut Alicke for your contribution to making this event a success. I share your thoughts on GenAI as well as your vision for establishing a forum for the Supply Chain community. As we continue to navigate the complexities of these groundbreaking technologies, sharing experiences and knowledge is crucial. We are optimistic that #aiosphere will become the vibrant forum to foster this exchange and learning. At least it was a more than reasonable start 😉
