President, Strategic GTM @ Clari | $4T under management

Today’s CRO has two main responsibilities: (1) Predictably hit the company’s revenue number every time. (2) Boost the productivity of revenue-impacting employees. AI cuts across both of these responsibilities. Predictive AI unlocks revenue forecasts with pinpoint precision. This enables CROs to hold their team accountable down to the dollar. Generative and Descriptive AI offer critical opportunities to boost productivity. With the right balance of features, reps and leaders can accomplish more than ever. The bottom line: An AI strategy is essential.

One word of caution when it comes to AI and its practical implications: Tool selection becomes more crucial than ever and I truly hope we are not witnessing another big-data/cloud/paas goldrush with only few real nuggets. whenever it comes to AI we should be clear about what question/challenge/performance enhanement the AI tool address specific to our business.

Implementation is key. These tools are great, but you really need the one that suits you best, and some period of training in order to change management strategies and ensure teams can effectively utilize the capabilities.
