Insightful Visit: German Journalists at KIRCHHOFF Automotive 's Premier Plant. At the invitation of Arndt Kirchhoff, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the KIRCHHOFF Group, leading business journalists from Germany visited our Gliwice plant in Poland. With nearly 1000 employees, the Gliwice plant is our largest and integrates all of KIRCHHOFF Automotive 's key technologies. Arndt Kirchhoff aimed to highlight the exceptional setup of our Polish facilities and Poland's favorable business environment. For instance, the tax burden and labor costs in Poland are significantly lower. The metal and electrical industry in Poland in 2023 was 45.5% above the pre-crisis level of 2018, compared to Germany's 5.4% below. Arndt Kirchhoff emphasized the need for improving industrial location factors. Our gratitude goes to managing directors Rafał Lechowski and Paweł Cygan, and plant manager Radoslaw Zelek, for their excellent presentation of our company at this key location. #KIRCHHOFFAutomotive #MakingMobilitySafe

You might not know what #remanufacturing is. That’s OK—but what you should know is that the problems "remanners" are working to solve are challenges all businesses will face as circularity becomes the norm, rather than the exception. Reverse logistics, disassembly, testing and inspection of used products, cleaning, and more will all be standards as production becomes more circular. That's what I think is so unique and important about this conference.
The 2023 World Remanufacturing Conference is in the books! Thank you to everyone—presenters, attendees, and sponsors—who made the event in Springfield, MO, such a success. We're looking forward to next year IN CHICAGO!

I visited DI Gasell Next Level in Stockholm today, where we were able to take part in practical advice from successful winners and partners such as Peter Hellgren, Shervin Razani, Pernilla Ramslöv, KONRAD BERGSTRÖM, Caroline Strand interviewed by Andreas Johansson and Linnea Bolter. Has anyone asked themselves whether DI Gasell is a Gasell company itself? I suspect it is, without having all the figures on the table. But let's take a look at the criteria: Net sales: I guess that DI Gasell has sales of around 25 million sek, which is above the 10 msek limit. Employees: I think that they probably have at least 10 employees, which meets the requirement. Growth: Doubling sales over a four-year period may be challenging for DI Gasell. Instead, we can look at other growth metrics, for instance 68% increase in interest over the past four years, shown by search data from MyTelescope, is impressive and indicates strong growth. Overall, even though DI does not meet all the criteria to be classified as a Gasell company in the strict sense, they show clear signs of growth and success. Their concept has been established for 25 years and continues to attract great interest. While Dagens Industri cannot formally call itself a Gasell company, they undoubtedly deserve recognition for their successful business and contribution to Swedish business.

https://lnkd.in/dpv23VxU In today’s growing demand for EV’s, applications for Aluminum are increasing because Aluminum, being a good conductor, is also lightweight making it a preferable choice in batteries and also battery boxes. It gives rise in demand to Aluminium welding applications. However, welding Aluminium has its own set of challenges like hot cracking, porosity, etc. But, using advanced methods these problems can be mitigated. Watch Mr. Michael Nagel, our esteemed speaker from Scansonic, Germany, as he shares developments in advanced methods for tactile welding, remote welding, Fast component welding and also, the new SCeye process monitoring system developed by Scansonic MI GmbH which enables manufacturers to have more control over the manufacturing process, and reduce errors, thus increasing productivity.

HRH Crown Prince Haakon of Norway visited Germany a few days ago. In his banquet speech, he told about the cooperation between the German auto part manufacturer Schaeffler and the Norwegian Rare Earth Separation plant REEtec. This is a cooperation of mutual benefit. Schaeffler can supply the German automotive industry with clean, transparent non-Chinese Rare Earths for the EVs, while REEtec have a secure and long term offtake of its products. I belive that our future King is onto something. Long term commited cooperation between different parts of the value chain with shared benefits and green, transparent production. This is how we build the industry of tomorrow. https://lnkd.in/d5kjj-Cn
