Disruptive technologies continue to evolve Australia’s public healthcare landscape.
The questions on everyone’s mind include:
🔹 How can make patient flow more efficient to avoid crowding or reduce occupancy rates without compromising on quality of care?
🔹 Will rural or regional Australia receive the same level of healthcare as a metropolitan city?
🔹 Can we provide accessible healthcare so that all Australians receive the same level of care?
🔹 Do we balance human and technological resources and encourage a grow a bigger pool of talent pipeline?
Join the Healthcare and Human Services Innovation Roadshow to find your answers. We're touring across Australia from July 2nd to 24th at Deloitte Offices.

The Healthcare Facilities Network kicks off the week from the ASHE Annual 2023 conference in San Antonio. Here we discuss a question that we were asked by attendees of the conference. It is a fair question. We answer it by providing some recent candidate and organizational stories that are indicative of today's market, as well as the importance of relationships in achieving success in candidate recruitment and retention.
A mea culpa, if you will. The video from 1:37, where a question is asked, to 1:48, where an answer is given, seems not to make sense. If you watch and if you are still confused, the answer is yes. A strange way to say yes, but yes it is!
And if you were not in San Antonio for the Annual, we overlay the sights and sounds of the city over our discussion.
Come and hear from seasoned #communications pros about what is surely one of our worst nightmares. But leave the session better prepared! #crisiscommunications

Imagine this scenario: you've been recognized nationally for your groundbreaking work in Healthcare. There’s applause, perhaps even an event in your honor. You return home, eagerly awaiting the arrival of your well-deserved trophy. Days turn into weeks, weeks turn inrto months and... nothing arrives. So, what do you do when you win a trophy, but it never shows up at your door? Perhaps start calling the event planner!
Take a step back and think about this—how often in Healthcare do you achieve monumental successes that go unrecognized? No trophies, no awards, just the quiet satisfaction of a job well done.
This creates an important question: Is your success defined by public recognition, or by the lives you touch and save each day?
Of course, recognition is wonderful, but the real impact of your work isn't always something that can be placed on your desk or your bookshelf. Maybe the real award is in the unseen efforts you give each day—the lives you change and the comfort you provide.
Maybe, the true accolades are the ones that don't make it to your mailbox but are felt in your heart and seen in the smiles of your patients and their families.
Reflect on your own "unseen trophies." What victories are you achieving that might not be recognized with an award but are profoundly significant?
Embrace and celebrate your victories, for they are the essence of your true success in healthcare. I encourage you to carry forward the spirit of your dedication. Recognize each other’s efforts, celebrate your everyday victories, and continue to support one another in your professional journeys.
