Trust is built through frequent, transparent, bidirectional communication between senior leadership and employees. According to Simon Sinek, trust, effective leadership, and a shared vision are vital factors for a team's success. The word 'shared' particularly caught my attention, as it implies community, accountability, respect, confidence, and dedication. Establishing trust and effective leadership allows teams to create shared vision and values that align with their future aspirations. Furthermore, a shared vision welcomes diversity in thought, experience, background, and perspective. It is not meant to favor one viewpoint but multiple points of view, which can improve our understanding of the world around us while strengthening our team and organization.
