It's Done... By the Grace of God...I've officially become a 19 year old published author. DISCLAIMER: THIS BOOK WAS WRITTEN BY A "TEEN" PRIMARILY FOR "TEENS". It took some time (actually a whole lot of time) for me to get up the courage to even write this book. "Shout Out" to my parents (Michael Brock, Dulcevita Brock) and Dr. Dennis B. McKesey for encouraging me & pushing me to complete this leg of my journey. Although this book was written about money, I AM NOT A LICENSED FINANCIAL EXPERT NOR DO I CLAIM THAT THIS BOOK CAN OR WILL CREATE OVERNIGHT MILLIONAIRES. IT IS SIMPLY A STARTING POINT TO SPARK FURTHER THOUGHT AND EXPLORATION FOR THE TEENS WHO READ IT. I wrote this book solely based on my own experiences in the hopes of speaking to other teens like myself. Over the past decade, speaking around the country (and beyond) advocating to get more youth interested in becoming creators of technology...what I discovered is that most kids are not coming into contact with basic financial literacy training at home or in schools. My advocacy on behalf of Gen-Z evolved from being solely focused on Technology to including Personal/Leadership Develop as well as Financial Literacy. As I began to earn, invest, build my personal & business credit...I realized that the knowledge that I've gained can be used as a starting point for other Gen-Z(ers). There's NEVER been a generation more comfortable than Gen-Z with using technology, the internet and AI to gather information or explore subjects that grab our attention. To Gen-Z, "YouTube University" is a real thing. I felt that if a book on Financial Literacy was made "cool" and easy to read, with the very basic subject matter being spoken in the voice of another "teen" then maybe it'll help start new conversations & spark greater interest among Gen-Z(ers). I'm speaking to my generation and the generations of youth that will follow. I want "us" to start thinking and asking more questions about the subject of money. What's the point of learning how to make more money without learning how to grow it & leverage it for the powerful tool that it can be. Hopefully, "New Nerd Money" can help get the conversation started. "New Nerd Money" on Amazon Here: https://lnkd.in/gDR3sHfM Tasha Spencer
