It was a pleasure to deliver the Dr. K.S. Krishnan Memorial Lecture today on next generation communication technologies and the architectural vision for 6G at Council Of Scientific And Industrial Research–National Physical Laboratory (CSIR–NPL). The lecture has been instituted in the memory of physicist Dr. K S Krishnan CSIR-NPL’s first Director who worked with his mentor Sir C V Raman on Raman scattering. The lecture is co-organized with Krishnan Memorial Trust, Chennai. Dr K.S. Krishnan is known for his work on opening peep-holes into the interiors of molecules. One such peep-hole was provided through his collaboration in the discovery of the Raman Effect.
