Half my life in the industry analyst business... but now RETIRED. Aspiring curmudgeon. Thought follower. Speaker on breakout panel sessions. #snark
The retired LinkedIn experience is interesting. So many different reactions/emotions. 1. Why am I even here? I'm retired. 2. Good for my friends doing exciting things! 3. I'm envious of things my friends are doing; I hope they're envious of me doing nothing. 4. That job looks interesting. Maybe I should get back in the game. 5. What are you, crazy? 6. I wish they would get in touch with me. 7. I'm glad they're leaving me alone. I'm so done with those issues!
8. Should I get back to podcasts and videos?
Let’s write your book . You have a hell of a story that would benefit millions.
The old Johnathan Yarmis is over. Now comes the interesting question: Who will you be when you finish disrupting yourself? Inventor? Investor? Pollitical? Benefactor? Mentor? World traveller? Writer? ...etc So many choices...so little time. Time now is the most valuable commodity.
Perfect. I have nothing to add. What he said.
#3: We are.
We’re envious of your freedom in retirement. And here’s the 900th thing we’d like to say about GenAI.
We miss you.
Congratulations! Have fun.
Sure, I can fix|revive|unstick|secure|rebuild|evolve that for you…
