I was born in Scotland even though I've lived in Italy for the last 50 years. I started my career at J.P. Morgan in 1989 and, since 2013, I’ve had the opportunity to develop Workplace Strategy projects to adapt to new ways of working. These are the reasons I love this video that shows J.P. Morgan’s new office in Argyle Street, Glasgow. It demonstrates how important It is to implement an appropriate Workplace Strategy to engage and retain employees and foster innovation and creativity within a company. I'm very happy to read that J.P. Morgan is committed to invest in Scotland, where Scottish and UK Governments have created the conditions to attract international investments, to create jobs and services to build and support the innovative technology that stands behind world-class businesses. I must also say that I love the speaker’s Glaswegian accent, that is like mine, having spent part of my childhood in Foxbar - Paisley, just a few miles aways from Glasgow. This looks superb! Congratulations to the many people who put in so much time and effort to make it happen, it’s no easy feat I know, from my days leading Barclays return to office programme, revolutionising office layouts to look like this was a key pillar to retaining and attracting top talent in the new hybrid era! Having such a fine facility in Scotland outside of the London zone will cement JPM in the North and attract exceptional talent outside of the capital, reducing costs, channelling more investment into growth opportunities for the benefit of colleagues, customers and clients! Excellent result, congratulations to the site and leadership teams involved! 👏👏
