Many have asked me, what exactly does a Market advisor do? And really, out there in the business world, there is probably no equivalent. So what kind of people are we looking for, and what skill sets will match, and most importantly, is this something that calls out to you? Contrary to popular belief, our amazing team of Market advisors and Country Heads don't actually sit around and wait for companies to come calling for help. True to the International Business Division's mission to help companies to go international, we work on three important pillars of Learn, Land and Localise. So their jobs involve teaching companies more about overseas markets through advisory sessions and events, bringing companies to the country of choice to feel the ground, and linking companies up to the right partners in these foreign lands. Are you keen to be part of this story? To be the person companies remember when asked how they managed to go overseas. Then we are looking for you!
My team is growing! If you're interested to join us in our journey, do apply at the link below. Check out this job on Jobstreet: Market Advisor, Southeast Asia and Pacific from Singapore Business Federation - https://lnkd.in/gTYr2exb

Entering the Japanese market is a unique challenge for many (dare I say most?) pharma/biotech companies looking to expand their businesses globally. Strict regulations & drug pricing policies aside, the dynamics of the talent market are different from most of the other major regions. Companies looking to establish an entity from scratch need candidates who not only have the technical skills/knowledge, but a proactive & flexible mindset which will allow them to navigate effectively in a startup environment. While this is hard enough on its own, the Japanese talent market has notoriously low mobility and low visibility of candidates. Many biotech companies that have had success through direct sourcing in other regions struggle in this one country because of this. Language barriers and time differences don't help either. I believe that local recruitment agencies with the requisite experience, knowledge, and the right service mindset can add a great deal of value to companies seeking both qualified candidates and guidance/consultation on entering the Japan market. Here at Realstaffing (brand of SThree K.K.), this is exactly what we are looking to do. Companies like Krystal Biotech are one of several companies that our Real Tokyo team and I have been able to successfully support with their market entry in the last few years. It has truly been a gratifying experience to be able to add value to companies who have wonderful products to bring to patients in need. At Real/SThree, we are striving to be Game-changers in STEM. In Japan, we are building a Pharma/Biotech team that is driven by good values and principles, with the aim of forging long-lasting partnerships - something that is key to this challenging market. If you are a firm that is eyeing Japan as a market to potentially establish an entity in, please feel free to reach out to me for a consultation call (j.iida@realstaffing.com). We would be happy to help. #gamechangersinstem

✴ How's the job market recently looking like ❓ I've answered this question at least 3 times a day in every call or meeting. It seems like the common concern of everyone. Happy to spread it out to LinkedIn network. From a headhunter's perspective: it's getting POSITIVE lately. After nearly a year of dormancy following the tech-winter slump, headhunters also experienced a downturn and felt the impact of reduced job orders and client engagement, I am now noticing numerous positive indicators from job orders and client feedback. To me, "Positive" means encountering Real jobs, Timely responses, Good approaches, and Long-term visions. Thanks to the reunion with #WeNetwork mates across regions - we all recognized and appreciated the cross-selling opportunities to aid clients expanding into emerging markets such as Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Japan, and forthcoming ventures into the Philippines, Thailand. Within a few weeks, things have surprisingly bounced back with multiple roles pouring in from both existing and new clients emerging in each market. I'm thrilled to "swim" in the job search & delivery processes. To make life easier for the matching & matchy game, if you are a candidate, please visit my live jobs channel here https://lnkd.in/gP__8Jfq and apply if you find any interesting roles suitable for you. If you're seeking job opportunities but haven't found a suitable role for you yet, please submit your resume to the ✳ "Welcome CV" ✳ job box. This will help me to review it through our system and reach out to you promptly with suitable jobs that might open in the future. P.S.: For clients interested in catching up and exploring deeply the talent market in Vietnam, please feel free contact me at lananh@wenetworkasia.com. Thank you and all the best for everyone!
