The resilience demonstrated by the vulnerable people in #Syria after the devastating #earthquake is truly touching. Despite facing immense loss and destruction, their generosity, compassion, and sense of community are shining examples for the world to emulate. Their compassion teaches us day after day that the human spirit is indomitable. I’m in constant daily contact with family and friends in the affected areas and I couldn't be more amazed and touched by the stories of generosity coming from there. It is our moral obligation as fellow human beings to stand with them and offer support in every way we can. The world must come together to help rebuild and bring hope to those affected by this tragedy. To help the rescue teams and humanitarian organisations who are trying to help finding victims under the rubble, and to provide assistance, equipment and aid for those being left without homes and shelter, to support the victims and to provide them with food, clothes, shelter and medical aid, financial aid can be donated to the following humanitarian organisations: 1-https://lnkd.in/e3dyRp3V 2- https://lnkd.in/eVSBr9Nj 3- https://lnkd.in/eZBEJcgq #earthquake #earthquaketurkey #earthquakerelief #syriaearthquake #resilience #humanitymatters #humanity

It's very simple. If a place is used as terror infrastructure for attacking Israel (Command & Control centers, Attack Tunnels, arms and rocket caches, military training centers, rocket launchers aimed at Israeli cities, etc.), it becomes a legitimate military target that MUST be attacked to protect Israel citizens. Sadly and cynically, these were placed by Hamas within and under civilian neighborhoods, hospitals, schools and mosques for exactly that reason. That is one of the ways that hamas uses the Gazan population as human shields. Israel does it utmost to distance civilian population from these military posts and infrastructure. Hamas tries to keep the population there as much as it can. The sad thing here is that Hamas brought about the destruction of any military site they created, be it originally a hospital, a school or anything else. That was their decision. Not ours. Same as it was their decision to go slaughter, behead, torture, maim, burn rape and abduct hundreds and hundreds of men, women, children, babies and elderly people, while lobbing thousands of rockets at Israeli cities and towns throughout Israel. Maybe supporting and celebrating that wasn't such a good idea. They can return the kidnapped hostages and surrender any time they want. The war, and the suffering Hamas brought on Gaza and its citizens will end that very instant. #hamasisisis #hamasnazis #destroyhamas #standwithhumanity #standwithisrael #freegazafromhamas #freethehostages #wakeup #thewestisnext #metoounlessurajew #metoo #antisemitism #unbiased #unrwa #bringthemhome #israel #hamas #Gaza #palestine
"I’ve been to a lot of warzones and disasters, but I’ve never been in a situation where as far as the eye can see, every building is rubble. In some conflicts, you will see devastation, but there are gaps between damage and buildings still standing. Here – you turn 360 degrees - every single building is either severely damaged or rubble on the ground. And not just one or two streets, but dozens of streets. It’s everywhere." - Sacha Myers, Media Manager at Save the Children Khan Younis, once home to over 200,000 residents, including 100,000 children, now stands in ruins. Every building severely damaged or turned to rubble. This tragic sight emphasizes the critical need for immediate humanitarian aid in the region.

Caves, Tents and Shipping Containers: Quake Survivors’ Desperate Hunt for Shelter For now, the Turkish government is relying on short-term solutions to house an estimated one million who are crowding into gyms, hotels and dormitories. More than 40,000 people in Turkey died in the earthquake and a powerful aftershock. About 47,000 buildings were destroyed or damaged, sending more than one million people into temporary shelters, according to the International Rescue Committee. And millions more remain in need of food, shelter, electricity, water and toilets. Many have spent almost two weeks in the open air, sometimes braving freezing weather. The Turkish government, along with relief workers from agencies like the Red Crescent and the U.N.H.C.R., the United Nations refugee agency, are scrambling to meet the herculean challenge of housing people across quake-stricken areas of Turkey. If you want to donate click on the link below. Pray for the people of Turkey and Syria, the devastation may be the worst this century...~r https://lnkd.in/gYbSHBqF
