"Phase 1 oncology trials have unique challenges for the staff working on the studies and the patients participating in them. Phase 1 research studies are first in human studies–they have been tested in a laboratory setting, but the phase 1 portion of a study is the first time the treatment use is observed in humans...The focus of a phase 1 research study is the participants’ safety and the medication’s tolerability at increasing dose levels." Early detection and treatment of #breastcancer can have a big impact on patients, such as more available treatment options, less radical treatment and an improved prognosis - with a 93 percent or higher survival rate in the first five years for women whose breast cancer is detected at an early stage. Regardless, the work for early stage breast cancer research is not complete and H1 is committed to connecting the world with the right doctors, and doctors to a world of research. In an effort to do just that, we have helped multiple healthcare companies identify which experts have experience in early breast cancer research, while also meeting their internal requirements.
