As we pay tribute to our veterans this weekend, I am reminded of the deep connection between the work we do in cybersecurity and the safety of our active-duty personnel. In the rapidly evolving digital landscape, cybersecurity is more than just protecting data; it's a crucial part of national security. Every day, as a cybersecurity professional, I am acutely aware of the role we play in safeguarding not only our digital assets but also the lives of those who rely on this technology – including our active-duty military members. Our work in creating robust cyber defenses helps ensure that the communications, operations, and intelligence our soldiers depend on are secure from threats. By protecting these systems, we contribute to the overall mission of keeping our service members safe, wherever they are stationed around the world. As we continue to advance in this field, let’s take a moment to reflect on how interconnected our roles are with the broader aspects of national defense. The work we do has far-reaching implications, impacting not just businesses and individuals, but also the brave individuals who don the uniform to protect our freedoms. On this Veterans Day, let's renew our commitment to excellence in cybersecurity, knowing that our efforts play a vital part in the safety and security of our nation and its defenders. To all our veterans – thank you for your service. Your sacrifices and dedication have paved the way for a safer and more secure future. #VeteransDay #CyberSecurity #NationalSecurity #ThankYouVeterans

We concur that the whole purpose of purple teaming is to build stronger defensive capabilities, making it look more like a blue team. though, the concept of emulating how these cyber attacks are achieved is what makes it offensive as well. A line from "The fifth domain" says: the scenario between adversaries is the balance between offence and defence. I have come to an understanding that purple teaming is that "scenario" which makes it more than just a team, a capability to generate, quantifying and qualifying the whole concept of Threat Informed Defense. I would like to recommend that the book *The Fifth Domain* for purple teamers out there and any other security professionals even in military or government organisations. AttackIQ Purple Team #puruple_team #threat_informed_defense If anyone one has read and could recommend another, I'd love to read more of these interesting books.

Actelis is the quick and secure path to military base modernization!
Today we announced the receipt of new orders for cyber-hardened networking technology to be deployed on three U.S. military bases. These orders were received following Actelis’ recent successful cybersecurity certifications and placement on the Department of Defense Information Network approved products list. “We have invested significant resources on achieving these critical government security certifications,” said Tuvia Barlev, Chairman and CEO of Actelis. “We are very pleased to see that those efforts are resulting in new orders and a strong pipeline for our federal market segment.” Please see link to press release in the comments. #militarytechnology #networkingsolutions #cybersecurity
