I make movies. For entertainment, for marketing, and to train complex skills no one else can. Hire me to get results, and stop paying for media that doesn't work.
Just saw a billboard recruiting for "NOW HIRING: Facility Operations Staff." The sign gave me pause because it was oddly phrased. I actually went through the text prompts to get a sense of what the positions entailed. It's essentially grounds maintenance and cleaning. So...would qualified applicants KNOW they're actually qualified for this position? People fully capable of doing the job and earning the $19/hour look at this sign and think, "I don't know what's being asked of me." It's like when people would replace "garbage collector" with "Sanitation Engineer." These inflated titles no longer attract those coerced by false clout. It only muddles an already overwhelming job search, and it makes your life as a #recruiter harder because the description gives zero indication of what's needed from an applicant. I can't tell you how many companies suffer from #turnover due to this EXACT issue. You can always simplify job post language. No need to make #recruiting harder than it already is.

I've migrated my TA job alert system to this new sheet with a new name. 𝗥𝗧𝗧𝗔𝗝 (𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗧𝗔 𝗷𝗼𝗯𝘀) https://lnkd.in/e2GXvHkf I made several improvements that will increase the volume & quality.
