Yesterday, at the John Deere Classic, I had the pleasure of meeting Rexford (Rex) Curtiss, John Deere's new Chief Tractor Officer. In an April press release, John Deere announced they were looking for their first CTO – "someone witty and charismatic, with a talent for content creation, ready to help the iconic American brand celebrate farmers, contractors, groundskeepers, and brand fans." Rex is on tour this year, meeting a wide variety of people, from those who grow our food to those who build critical infrastructure, to capture and share their stories on social media. Maintaining TPC Deere Run in top shape year-round requires a lot of dedicated people and John Deere equipment. Rex is currently on-site this week, showcasing the work that goes on behind the scenes. For a company with a history dating back to 1837, it's inspiring to see John Deere embracing storytelling and engaging with people online in innovative ways. I encourage everyone to support Rex and John Deere on their exciting journey. Give them a follow and become part of their story. Good luck to everyone participating in the #JohnDeereClassic today. Happy Independence Day! #betterdirtworld
