I'm delighted to be celebrating 3 years at Salesforce/MuleSoft today! It's been an exciting ride helping our customers accelerate their digital transformation towards Composable Enterprises through the power of API-Led architecture. During this time the MuleSoft value proposition has increased significantly to include Universal API management & governance regardless of how or where APIs exist within an organisation and also Automation. Additionally the integration between MuleSoft and core Salesforce products has tightened and its been fascinating to experience how an effective integration strategy can really accelerate the time to value for products including Data and Financial Services Cloud. Nothing ever stands still in the tech world especially with Generative AI disrupting business and operating models across all industries. One thing remains constant though and that is an organisation is only as effective as the trusted data on which it is based and effective data & integration strategies are a core part of that.

Have enjoyed a really informative couple of days at the BIAN Summit seeing how banks such as JPMorganChase and HSBC have been more successful by leveraging the BIAN framework and modern API based composable architectures. As a framework BIAN requires architecture design work and a platform to design, socialise and implement APIs. Salesforce has done considerable work in this area leveraging MuleSoft capabilities to accelerate BIAN adoption and I am now motivated to deep dive much deeper into the BIAN service domains and APIs!

I'm pleased to have recently passed my TOGAF EA Foundation exam. IMHO good Enterprise Architecture is the basis for a successful business and effective IT delivery. Organisations are looking to become more "composable" - formed from an assembly of Solution Building Blocks exposed as a set of readily discoverable and consumable APIs. This approach is embraced by Salesforce and delivery accelerated using MuleSoft. Hope to see you at Salesforce World Tour next week to discuss further!
