Bringing being haircare to life with our partner Walmart. When Walmart approached us to develop a hair care brand that spoke to the unmet needs of different hair types, we jumped at the opportunity. We discovered that an overwhelming number of people are either dissatisfied with their current routine, or unclear about which products they should use for their particular hair type. An independent consumer study showed more than half of people surveyed could not identify their hair type, and 79% of people say it’s difficult to find products tailored for their specific hair type and needs. Launching today exclusively across 2500+ Walmart stores is being haircare: targeted formulas for all hair types. being is the first brand distributed in a mass retailer in the US that allows people with all hair textures, types, and needs to buy from one brand, in one aisle, on one shelf, at an accessible price point. In ensuring everyone is able to see themselves in this brand, our best-in-class creative and product teams carefully considered packaging function, colours, and even physical demarcations to make things easier for those with visual impairments and varying leves of dexterity. On top of all this, our obsession with vertical integration has allowed us to price each bottle at $6.97! After all, there’s no point people being able to see themselves in your brand if they’re priced out when they go to purchase. A massive thank you to Creighton T. We're incredibly proud to be partnering with you to democratize and demystify haircare for everyone, and to be a part of beauty incubation programme Walmart Start. I'm also incredibly proud of my beauty team who have helped bring to life three three brands in three months: no easy feat! The team has never cared more or worked harder than on these launches, and it shows in the level of execution. Thank you to the team for putting even more effort into each launch as the last.
