CPG marketers bring a consumer down a funnel to get a purchase/conversion. A great cannabis marketer brings a Budtender down a funnel to get to the consumer purchase. Many marketers go directly to trial (read: spray and pray samples to any Budtender that will take the free product). By not properly gauging interest and following the steps, you're simply wasting resources with no ability to get to advocacy - which is where they recommend your product to a consumer. What are your thoughts on going directly to owner or buyer, when they most often aren't the advocates in store to sell through these items? It is a combination of both or lean more towards the budtender?

Love this. IMO if you do it strategically, trial/sampling can happen at any stage of this funnel to accelerate progress to advocacy/reccomendation.
