#UAE can now stand for United Arab Energy 🙂 As I have hoped for before: Arab leaders realizing that Allah endowed the region with buried carbon-based energy AND free #solar energy on the surface. It's great that UAE is joining #BRICS as BRICS has been for inter-nation development and any development needs energy. UAE should be the firmest believer that global collaboration brings prosperity. First western technology helped them extract the buried energy, now Chinese manufacturing helped them capture solar energy. Extracting oil enriched UAE, but the cheap oil at the right time was essential in building the economic juggernauts of USA, Japan and Germany. Next phase will be Arabs leading in the science and engineering of electricity and chemical reactions involving hydrogen. Dr. Khulood Almani🇸🇦 د.خلود المانع
World’s Largest Al Dhafra #Solar Plant Single-Site PV 2GW Project, Built And Commissioned In A Single Phase In Abu Dhabi, UAE ⚡ It is equipped with around 4 million bifacial solar panels and supplies power to EWEC ⚡ The project increases Abu Dhabi’s solar power production capacity to 3.2 GW The project is located 35 km from Abu Dhabi and the project partners claims to have installed at an average rate of 10 MW/day. The plant is expected to generate enough clean energy to power close to 200,000 homes and displace 2.4 million tons of carbon emissions/year. The tariff was further lowered after financial close at AED 4.85 ($0.0132)/kWh. Hydrogen fuel cells are lighter than the batteries used in electric vehicles and take less than 5 minutes to refuel. This could make them more suitable for long distance and commercial vehicle operations, such as fleet and heavy vehicle use. https://lnkd.in/gcsnKCtM
We’ve teamed up with Toyota and Al Futtaim Motors to test hydrogen technology that, in the near future, could significantly reduce emissions of transportation sectors both in the UAE and around the world. Based in Masdar City and to be operated by ADNOC Distribution, the region’s first high-speed hydrogen refueling station will create clean hydrogen using an electrolyzer powered by zero-carbon grid electricity. The station’s technology will allow vehicles to quickly fill up and get back on the road. It’s another step on our transformational journey to make today’s energies cleaner while investing in the clean energies of tomorrow. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/dVusxXRY #EnergyForLife

ADNOC is pursuing all avenues to decarbonise. Yet one must point out that ADNOC must avoid pitfalls such as investing in promoting H2 as fuel. H2 is very inefficient and ineffective as a fuel by the laws of chemistry and thermodynamics. H2 is also very difficult (risky) to transport (mobility) and store. ADNOC can do well to invest in Green H2 production to replace the Grey and Blue H2 they currently use in the petrochemical industry. ADNOC must also be cautious on promoting the use of CCUS as it is costly and may not be as effective as many would like. These are genuine thoughts to help ADNOC decide. #adnoc #ccus #hydrogène #decarbonization
Reducing carbon emissions in the transport sector is a crucial part of the journey towards net zero. In collaboration with our partners, our H2GO station is fueling a fleet of test vehicles with green hydrogen. The results of the pilot will be used to understand potential expansion of hydrogen mobility in the UAE. Emirates Water and Electricity Company (EWEC) is on the brink of sealing a monumental deal! 🔥 They're gearing up to sign a purchase power agreement (PPA) for a colossal 1.5 gigawatt solar plant in Abu Dhabi. This groundbreaking project, dubbed Al Ajban, is poised to light up approximately 160,000 homes across the UAE once it springs to life. 💡 According to Othman Al Ali, the dynamic CEO of Ewec, they're currently in the "final stages" of sealing the deal and navigating through regulatory hurdles. 🚀 Last year, EWEC received jaw-dropping proposals from industry giants like Acwa Power, EDF Renewables, Marubeni Corporation, and a powerhouse consortium comprising Jinko Power and Jera to develop the Al Ajban solar marvel. 🌟 Anticipated to go live by 2026 or even earlier, the Al Ajban project is not just about powering homes; it's a significant step towards slashing carbon dioxide emissions by up to a staggering 2.4 million metric tonnes annually! 🌍♻️ Mr. Al Ali mentioned another stellar initiative, the Khazna solar project. This project is also set to illuminate around 160,000+ homes and is expected to be operational by 2026/27. 🏠☀️ In a bid to keep up with Abu Dhabi's soaring electricity demands, they've recommended adding another 1.5 gigawatts of solar capacity by 2027, with even more expansions slated for the future. 📈💥 With gas capacity being gradually phased out, Ewec is pioneering a sustainable energy landscape, ensuring lower emissions and a greener tomorrow. 🌿🔌 #RenewableEnergy #SolarPower #Sustainability #CleanEnergyFuture #SolarPowerInnovation #SustainableUAE #RenewableEnergyRevolution #EcoFriendlyLiving #GreenEnergySolutions #AbuDhabiSolar #ClimateActionNow #ZeroEmissionsGoal #SolarEnergyForAll #Renewables4Climate #EwecSolarProject #SustainableDevelopment #EnergyTransition #LowCarbonEconomy #CleanTech #EcoInnovation #SolarPanels #RenewablePower #BrighterFuture

This year marks the inaugural celebration of the International Day of Clean Energy on January 26th, as approved by the United Nations. The significance of this date aligns with the establishment anniversary of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) in 2009, hosted in Abu Dhabi, UAE. HE Saeed Al Tayer, the MD and CEO of Dubai Electricity & Water Authority - DEWA, highlights the UAE's prominent role in transitioning to clean and renewable energy. The country ranks second globally in the Energy Transition pillar of the Green Future Index (GFI) 2023 and is the 6th highest per capita consumer of solar energy. DEWA actively supports national initiatives for sustainability across various development sectors. The UAE has ambitious goals, aiming to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 19% in 2030, 62% in 2040, ultimately achieving Net Zero by 2050. Additionally, there are plans to triple the contribution of renewable energy with an investment of AED150 to AED200 billion by 2030. DEWA is making strides toward the vision of achieving Net Zero by 2050 through pioneering projects in clean and renewable energy. The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, with a current capacity of 2,627MW, is a key project using the latest global technologies. DEWA is on track to meet the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050 and the Dubai Net Zero Carbon Emissions Strategy 2050, targeting 100% energy production capacity from clean sources by 2050. #UAE #Abudhabi #Electricity #Net #Zero

Heart of the Compressors 💚🤍🖤❤️💚🤍🖤❤️💚🤍🖤❤️ KBDME Compressor Valves & Accessories FZCO. Dubai 🇦🇪Ajman🇦🇪 💚🤍🖤❤️💚🤍🖤❤️💚🤍🖤❤️ Compressor valves are often referred to as the heart of the compressor, crucial for regulating the flow of gases and ensuring efficient operation. The quality of these valves directly impacts the performance, reliability, and longevity of the compressor. High-quality valves ensure precise control over intake and discharge cycles, minimizing energy consumption and reducing the risk of leaks and pressure drops. Conversely, inferior valves can lead to inefficiencies, increased operational costs, and frequent maintenance issues. Therefore, maintenance at regular intervals with high-quality internals is essential for maintaining optimal performance and ensuring the longevity of the entire compressor system. www.KBDME.com 💚🤍🖤❤️💚🤍🖤❤️💚🤍🖤❤️
