This is June, 2022. I was in the mountains, scared to quit my first job. But, I resigned the day I came back. Career clarity was tough. I had studied design & always knew that I was inclined towards startups and business. I worked at Hoop Flo for 2 years, which got my foot into the door. But I had been a generalist out & out. So, I left feeling extremely lost about what next, what my actual skills were, what role I should go for & where.   I remember Aastha introducing me to GrowthX & at the time, joining as a member felt like the fix. But, when I saw their careers page with open roles, I remember thinking what could be better than actually working with these folks. I wanted to be in the room with the smartest folks, just absorbing their craft. So, I chose to shoot my shot & emailed Udayan. Unsure of even the role I wanted to join in. But I just knew I wanted to build GrowthX with the team. And thus, started my interview journey. It was 60 days of interviewing & us trying to figure out the right role for me. I didn’t realise it then, but I was super anxious, not getting out of bed & riddled with thoughts. I was under-confident because, I constantly felt like I had no depth. This reflected in my interviews & the way I presented myself. But, I did make it. And, honestly, it was Abhishek & Udayan taking a big bet on me. I’m glad they did. Now that I look back - all I needed was someone to guide me through “this is what you’re good at, this is what you can explore, this is how you can get there.” Basically someone who I could trust to have my back. Honestly, it’s extremely fulfilling to be building exactly this for leaders & operators in this ecosystem. Outcomes by GrowthX® is designed to help people build compounding careers.
