IonQ’s CMO Margaret Arakawa recently had the opportunity to speak on a panel at The Economist’s third annual Commercialising Quantum event about how businesses can ‘sidestep’ hype to unleash efficiencies at the intersection of AI and quantum. Attendees heard from her and panelists representing Schneider Electric, Strangeworks, and Lufthansa Systems, about the many overlaps between the two technologies and how the AI gold rush is increasing investments in quantum. “We don’t look at AI and quantum as a demarcation.
