Building solutions for managing and processing health data is top priority for biomedical research and longevity. Data is king, especially in the era of AI. So, I am excited that Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer, one of the best hospitals in the world according to Newsweek, participated in the largest electronic health records (EHR)-to-electronic data capture (EDC) data transfer pilot in clinical trials, conducted by Boston-based company Yonalink Conducted across 21 medical centers in the United States and Israel, the study demonstrated the platform's ability to stream 93% of patient data with 100% accuracy, setting a new standard in the industry. Dr Eytan Ben Ami, Director of the Clinical Research Department at Sheba Medical Center said: “Manual data transfer is outdated and leads to significant delays during clinical trials. Yonalink’s technology demonstrates that embracing AI can enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and ultimately allow more patients to participate in clinical trials.” I am inspired by the entrepreneurial and innovative spirit of folks at Sheba Medical Center, who constantly tap novel technologies and scientific directions.
