What is the difference? ⁉ ❗ Water-cooling The water-cooled welding machine needs a chiller. Water flows into the laser as a heat dissipation medium to cool down the laser module. This is the most common cooling system for laser equipment. But the volume and weight of the whole system will become larger. Makes the machine unfavorable for portability. ❗ Heat pipe cooling Heat pipe heat cooling is one of the heat dissipation methods of air-cooled hand-held welding. This makes the welding machine smaller, portable and convenient to use. However, the heat dissipation of the heat pipe is passive heat dissipation, and the heat dissipation effect becomes lower. The power of the laser is limited and will not exceed 1500w. ❗ Direct coolant Direct cooling is an advanced and efficient cooling way to stabilize the internal temperature. It is active cooling system with no water as medium, making laser stable and reliable to use. 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 is resistance to the flow of electric current caused by incomplete contact of the surfaces through which the current is flowing, and by films or oxide layers on the contacting surfaces. It occurs at electrical connections such as switches, connectors, breakers, contacts, and measurement probes.   Thanks to 𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 technology, this resistance is nearly non-existent. And why is that? Because of the technology itself.   So what exactly is ultrasonic welding? Ultrasonic welding is a pressure welding process that uses pressure and friction to create a strong connection with excellent electrical conductivity.   And why is there almost no contact resistance you want to know? Let's explain this quickly: the ultrasonic welding process breaks up the oxide layer of the cables and the material of the individual wires connects without fusing. This means that no dirt or other contaminants can get between the wires and affect their electrical conductivity. This results in nearly no contact resistance - also known as a 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗱.
