Did you know that 8,982 young people aged 10-17 were under youth justice supervision during the year in Australia? AND that while First Nations people represent only 4% of Australian population, 57% of young people in detention are First Nations young people? UnLtd. 's #AdlandBailOut aims to break this cycle of youth incarceration. The funds raised from Adland Bail Out go towards effective programs operated by UnLtd’s charity partners. My final plea for help. Tomorrow I’m spending a night in prison. I'm taking part in UnLtd's Adland Bail Out to raise funds and awareness for breaking the cycle of youth incarceration. I'll be finger printed, interrogated and lined-up before sleeping on the cold hard floors of a prison cell. - In order for me to be released out the next morning, I need to raise $1,250 bail and I need your help! While I have been locked out, and definitely locked-in a few times, I've never yet been locked up. This changes on Thursday as I am taking part in the Adland Bailout and will spend the night in prison for Charity. AND we're still expected to laude the "generosity" of those who do give us grants after we've spent all our resources applying for the sodding things. I just wanna make pizza. Doing good is not as difficult as some people might think it is! Everyone, regardless of their socioeconomic status, can do good in different ways. Doing good does not always require wealth or resources, but it does require compassion and empathy towards others. Small acts of kindness such as volunteering time, donating items, or simply being kind and courteous towards others can make a significant impact on someone’s life. Additionally, advocacy, raising awareness, and promoting positive change in social, environmental, or political issues can also be a form of doing good that anyone can contribute to, regardless of their wealth or social status. Everyone can do good in their own little way! #GoodDeedsDay
