High Viscosity Feed Pumps Reduce Downtime In our latest project, we were asked to supply a pair of pumps to feed an animal rendering plant which operated 24/7. They needed a reliable set of pumps which could operate in duty/standby mode and handle a 50/50 mixture of water and dry solids made up of dry meat, bone and tissue solids at around 350L/min at 2 bar which did not easily flow. All industries create by-products that need to be reused, reprocessed or disposed of.
