Yesterday, we had a blast #hosting MoveMyTalent Relocation's and Work in Estonia's "Re-Invent Yourself" program at our Tallinn office. The Re-Invent program is all about supporting family members who've relocated with their partners to Estonia, helping them kickstart or continue their career journey in this new chapter. We took the opportunity to give them a sneak peek into our daily life here at #OlyBet. From the heartbeat of our culture to the overall vibe, we walked them through our recruitment process and even sprinkled in some #tips from our #recruiting wizards. Make sure your profile picture is pro and truly reflects your experience. 💭Expand Your Network: Actively connect with folks in your industry. Reach out to companies that pique your interest. If you meet someone cool who shares your passions, stay connected. Share your story and strengths boldly—no need to be shy. 💭Stand Out in Your Applications: Be a standout by expressing yourself uniquely in your resume, cover letter, or any required application materials. Skip the generic phrases that everyone else is using. 💭Bonus Tip: Get to Know the Company: Invest some time in understanding the company you're applying to. Familiarize yourself with their values, culture, and the awesome people who make things happen. Next week (15th) marks one year with Verint and to celebrate I am off to Portugal in the morning 🌞. Disclaimer - we got a very good deal! Making the most of not being tied to 'term times'. My take-aways from year 1; • Can't believe it has been a year. In a way it has flown but also feels like I have been here a lifetime. It felt like that from week 3. • I actually enjoy it so much, I have to pinch myself! • I get to work with some brilliant hiring managers, who are so engaged and it makes those hires a 🎁. • Verint gave me the opportunity to hire my very first team member Mhairi Mclaughlin - who has been brilliant. • We have some very cool products and did you know....they're award winning 🏆 • Last but no means least, to date, I have made 51 direct hires and countless referrals. Meeting some amazing people from across EMEA. Obviously the hires have made a huge financial saving on agency cost but for me, its more so about the connection a in house recruiter makes with each candidate. This is my company and I care about your opinion and your experience with us. So, as I bid you farewell until the 20th of May.
