If you have been browsing our website, you may have already discovered them - however, the IMX664, IMX675 and IMX676 sensors are still far from standard in the industrial camera market 😎 We have recently added the new Sony Starvis 2 sensors in combination with the small uEye+ XCP cameras to our range. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥? The answer is easy: the 4, 5 and 12.5 MP sensors are characterised not only by their excellent image quality, but also by their high #NIR sensitivity (Near Infrared). This is beneficial for applications where there is little ambient light, for example. Furthermore, we place the models in the highly attractive entry-level price segment. Sony SenSWIR sensor technology implemented in the HAIP BlackIndustry SWIR 1.7 / Max cameras! 📷 💡 We are incredibly excited to announce a full new generation of hyperspectral cameras with the integration of Sony's next-generation SenSWIR sensor technology into our BlackIndustry SWIR 1.7 / Max hyperspectral cameras! The SenSWIR sensors set new standards with a smaller pixel size, improved image uniformity and increased spectral sensitivity in the SWIR spectrum. They are particularly useful for areas requiring versatile spectral analysis and precise object detection, and are therefore perfect for sorting applications, industrial inspection and environmental monitoring, among others. This technology, paired with the implemented Cu-Cu connection, reduces the top indium-phosphorus (InP) layer thickness, enhancing light reach to the InGaAs layer. Combined with the high signal-to-noise ratio and integrated black pixels of the BlackIndustry SWIR 1.7 cameras, it offers outstanding sensitivity from 1600 nm to 1730 nm. FIR camera. Sounds difficult, but it really isn’t! And it’s a technology we hope will save lives in the future. FIR is short for "Far Infrared" and it is a camera type Kyocera is developing for automotive applications. FIR cameras are great because they use sensors to detect the heat from objects so the camera to see objects even in the dark or during adverse weather conditions, such as fog. This week we are at the #AutomotiveEngineeringExposition2024 exhibiting our FIR camera and more technologies leading the automotive industry. 16, 20 and 24 MP: IDS uEye+ cameras with Sony Pregius sensors IDS Imaging will soon release new members in their uEye+ camera series, utilizing Sony’s 4th generation Pregius S sensors. Included are 16, 20, and 24 MP offerings of the compact uEye+ USB3 cameras. The “S” in Pregius S stands for “stacked”, a sensor architecture that is back-illuminated as well as layered, creating a light-sensitive, low-noise, high-performance sensor. Even the first 3 generations of Sony Pregius sensors broke new ground, but Pregius S is special. Read our dedicated blog on the Sony Pregius four generation offerings, including details on Pregius S. https://zurl.co/pUa6]$
