In honor of BNY's 240th anniversary, we’re proud to recognize our longtime industry comrade and the technical innovations BNY has introduced that've helped define the future of finance. To commemorate this milestone, we're celebrating with a showcase of one of the earliest recorded artifacts of our collaboration alongside the most recent: Photo 1️⃣ : BNY's earliest entry in the NYSE's quotation book on August 4, 1819, with a quoted asking price of $127 ¾. At the time, BNY was one of roughly 30 securities traded on the Exchange.
